Better visibility of the road network
By refurbishing the lighting on Wallonia's main road network, the roads at night have become clearer and offer greater visibility
This is the result of:
Compliance with lighting levels in accordance with the type of road or situation (e.g. lights are not fully turned off on I/O motorways)
Following the principle of light chromatism in accordance with classification and hierarchy of routes (e.g. I/O motorways have a cooler colour temperature and are therefore more visible in these accident-prone areas)
Range of street lighting furniture selected in accordance with the type of road and how the space is used (e.g. stylish lights used in some towns through which the main road network runs)
